Anti-Aeromonas sobria, (clone 6A1/E5)
Anti-Aeromonas sobria, (clone 6A1/E5)
This antibody recognizes specifically Aeromonas sobria, it has not cross reactivity with both Aeromonas salmonicida and Aeromonas caviae and can be used in ELISA assay (1: 2,000 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution). Aeromonas sobria is a Gram negative and facultative anaerobic bacterium that occurs ubiquitously in aquatic environments. It can infect a wide range of fish species and it is usually considered secondary or opportunistic bacterium affecting fish are usually stressed, have a weakened immune system or have skin lesions. A. sobria infections can cause tail and fin rot, large ulcers, skin lesions, edema and organ damage in fish. It causes gastrointestinal disorders and wound infections in humans.
