Anti-Aeromonas caviae, IgG fraction monoclonal antibody (clone 3G3/D8)
Anti-Aeromonas caviae, IgG fraction monoclonal antibody (clone 3G3/D8)
This antibody recognizes Aeromonas caviae and it has cross reactivity with Aeromonas salmonicida and Aeromonas sobria. It can be used in ELISA assay (1: 200 dilution) and Western blot (1: 1,000 dilution). Aeromonas caviae is a Gram negative and facultative anaerobic bacterium that occurs ubiquitously in aquatic environments. It can infect a wide range of fish species and it is usually considered secondary or opportunistic bacterium due to affect fish are usually stressed, have a weakened immune system or have skin lesions. A. caviae is responsible for severe skin lesions in fish and it can cause gastroenteritis in humans.
